Where have all the
Slaintes gone?
These days you can catch Ryan and Boyd with the
Barra
MacNeils. Brian's been playing with
Jimmy Rankin
and
Slowcoaster. John is with the
Gaelic College Pipe Band, and Lisa has been buried under a
pile of books in the big city for so long that a lot of us are
getting worried.
Just think of the
hilarious "get the group back together" montage that will be in
Slainte
Mhath: The Movie.
You know, the scene where all the members are tracked down and
coerced into a reunion tour in order to save the world from some
kind of extra-terrestrial threat? It'll happen, just wait.

Members of the band have
described the game experience as "very close" to actually touring in
Europe. Players can look forward to literally hours of airport
action, followed by navigating complex mazes leading to the elusive
"leisure centers" scattered across the continent, all while playing
tunes flawlessly for sometimes confused (but always entertained)
foreign crowds.
Gain points by not
giggling every time you hear "utfart" and by correctly pronouncing
each town's name. Lose points by using an expired passport and by
making the hotel staff cry.
