CommentsApologies for the chaos in here the past little while. We got spammed pretty hard there. I'll try to keep on top of it. In the meantime, try to resist clicking on any ads for a "barge cruise". It doesn't sound like much fun. Cheers, Evan
CommentsThanks for writing, we actually don't have an album coming out titled Music for the Kilted Generation. That was what we were going to call our last album which was released in 2002, but ended up calling it VA to facilitate the pronunciation of 'Mhath'. Small world or wha!
CommentsHi guys, couldnt help but notice your up and coming album, "Music for the kilted generation!" just wanted to let you know that my band, "The Kilted Generation" also have an album called, "Music for the kilted generation!" circa 1998! CommentsHi guys! I saw u in 2002 in the Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, in fact I saw John and Brian after the show at one of my friends' house. It was an amazing show. Hope u can come again.
CommentsI saw you years and years ago in downtown Toronto and love your band. I now live in California and am totally missing the great folk scene. Quick question: When I first saw your band, I believe that there was another female lead. Who was that? You were such a talented group. Hope you come to California some time. Cheers! Jamie
CommentsIf anyone from the band reads this, i.e Lisa, I wanted to say that I know that your busy on tour an'all, but I miss hearing from you. From the picture on the website, it looks like there are two new faces. I know one guy stepped in to replace Bruce a long time ago, but who are they? I can't remeber what you said their names are. Please write me-snail mail because I can't seem to get a working E-Mail going yet. I'm working on it with Hotmail because I would only check it if I was on the net anyway. I hope to catch you guys at a show soon.

Commentshey there, i know its a wee bit late but i hope you all had a great New Year. Karen XXX
CommentsWell, you guys are GREAT! I adore your music. I am in love with the Irish Music. Even if I am from Romania. My favorite song from you is Star of The County Down. It is 100% DIVINE. I am building a band myself, a rck one, but with slow rythm, much like Cranberries, which are from Ireland too. I would love to sing Star of The County Down on electric guitar. But I guess it will never sound not even nearly as good as you. You are the best irish band I ever listened to. And I listened to a lot, believe me. I LOVE YOU PEOPLE. :) -CG-
CommentsJust wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year!! Hope to see you soon.

CommentsHmmm...Never heard anything like you guys. Had a friend bring your CD along. Well, now I have one of my own. Now my niece wants it for Christmas. If you ever travel this way, I'll come see you. Would love to know more about you all, there isn't a whole lot of info on your website. Perhaps a more 'personal' bio for each member would be a nice addition to your site?
CommentsWe caught you in New Hampshire for the first time last Spring. We loved your music! Please come to Boston ASAP! Until then, we'll keep playing your CD.
CommentsHi guys, I just wanted to say how much I love Slainte Mhath and that I was at the Great Big Sea concert yesterday in Ottawa and saw Brian playing with Jimmy Rankin. I gave an extra big cheer when I heard him being introduced hehe. Anyways I hope you guys make a cd again soon, your other two are awesome!
CommentsHey there, I was on the lookout for you at the Festival Club at Celtic Colours, but I wasn't lucky enough to catch you, I guess. Anywho, just wondering if you'll EVER be back in the T.O. area. I want to show some of my Ontario friends quality live Cape Breton music, and frankly, it doesn't get much better than you guys. So HOPEFULLY, you'll be in the area soon, and until then, keep on rockin'...
CommentsYou guys are awesome! I am so happy I got to see you at Irish fest! Also to get your autographs! It was a really cool experience. I will never forget it! EVER!

Moran taing. Annchris
CommentsHey Guys, What's up! Not too much here! How has the remaining of your summer been! Great I hope! Lots of tunes and times! 4 sure! Anyway, I thought u guys were awsome at the Marquee Club in Halifax. I have to apolagize for being so drunk! I don't usually drink at all, so my tolerance was at a low! It was my work buddy's birthday, he's from Sydney and he wanted to get on a tear, I said I'll have a couple of drinks. I remember talking to Ryan and Hugging Lisa, saying hi to Boyd and the rest is all blank. I don't remember how I got home and don't remember what I was saying! I know I was a drunking irritable idiot! I do remember bits and peices and am so embarrased and feel horrible. I think the world of you all, I hope I didn't offend anyone in any way. I was so happy to see you all! I got a tee shirt which was pretty cool. I can't wait for you to put out a new CD. I'll be getting it for Sure.. Take Care & Keep The Island Spirit alive! Dave P.S- Tell Jean I said Hi!
CommentsGreat job with the Barras at the Celtic Colours Festival Club Friday night. Awesome way to close the night! Kimberley

Mom told me you played 'We will rock you' on the pipes and i was very impressed... i was just wondering if i could get some pictures of you guys... Thanx a bunch... Erin ;)
CommentsJust a little question from me to you. When do you release a new CD? Soon I hope. Hey and skål.
CommentsThanks again for the week of lessons in PEI, John. You're a way better teacher/piper than my instructors here. Slainte Mhath should come to Mtrl sometime! My friend and I love your guys' music, I'd come see you in concert any day. I'm sure Lauren would come, too. Thanks for being a great band, I really enjoy the music.

I still want to go back to Cape Breton!!). Hope to see ya back around here soon!! Cheers, Kevin
CommentsWhat a great web site! We really enjoyed your concert at the Euclid, Ohio Irish Summerfest! Saw you both times you performed! Please contact Pat Coyne so that you can return next August. In addition, try to get other bookings in Cleveland and its environs. John's babpiping was stupendous! Lisa's dancing wonderful! Ryan, Boyd, and Brian - just great! Do not ever loose your enthusiasm and your ability to have fun while entertaining your audience. Loved MacNeil's humour! My wife Mary's mother was a Canadian from Ingersoll, Ontario - Her name was Madelyne MacMillan and was related to McPhee's in that town and area of Ontario.
CommentsYou guys were great fun this past weekend! You're performances were awesome. It was nice getting to know you. I'm glad I got a chance to hang out with you guys and drive u around, haha. I hope your flight back home was good. Hope to see you around these parts again soon. Mick's pub will have to be a stop, and of course Downtown Cleveland for Brian, where the DJ's are :) Keep in touch guys (my email is above). ~ Melissa

CommentsGlad to hear you liked the fest....I enjoyed getting to see your band for the first time! Hopefully we will be seeing you again soon.
CommentsAlright Ohio! Good times at the place-I learned a new meaning for "cheese"- Cash! Wierd, not sure where that originated from... We're havin' a blast in COlumbus and area, kickin' around at the 'ole not-so-ghetto Inn on a few days off; got to see 'the price is right' for the first time in ages! Dublin Irish Fest was awesome, as expected, what a great lineup of bands, kudos to all those involved! Lookin; forward to keepin' the groove alive in Euclid! See ya'll there! Johnny bagpipes
CommentsI hope to see you again at the Dublin Irish Music Festival. Great shows!

Also at the end when everyone wanted one more, and a few of you came out to say that you couldn't I have to say that was very classy! Kudos! You guys rock!
CommentsNope, not true. Some of us are doing some schooling in the fall, but we're still working on some shows...even some new music being worked into the show!
CommentsDoes anyone know if Slainte Mhath is breaking up? James from Enter The Haggis (another awesome band) said he'd heard a rumor that they had already split--please tell me it's not so!

CommentsHey, you remember the Revel? Of course you do! It'd be great, however, if you came to my new hometown and gave them a dish of cheerful mirth! (I'm the girl that plays Tetris with the Joe Boxer shirt from the 6:00 concert in S'Port) Secondly, I love the sound. "My New Pants" is one of the best songs ever, as well as... a lot of others...
CommentsHey Brian....how is it going? If you guys drop into Ottawa that would be great.
CommentsI love you so much and can you please send me your email address
CommentsHey You Guys, whats new well i was just wondering when you guys will be stopping in Sydney again?? Soon i hope well later guys
CommentsHey, guys! Sorry I missed the show in Toronto a while back...driving in Toronto scares the jeepers out of me! You guys should think about playing a show at the Huron (Urine..Ha!) Club on Base here. There're a lot of East Coasters and I think your music will be a welcome change to the canned stuff they serve. Plus they sell 750 ml beer for $4.25 (not Keith's, though)! Anyhoo, anytime you're in the province, let me know. I'll do what I can to see yas. I miss Halifax and your Marquee shows so much! Take care, guys! Hope to see you up this way soon!
CommentsHey John and gang...decided to check the site in hopes that I might be able to see you guys somewhere...the 23rd at the Marquee sounds very promising...John, drop a line if you ever check this thing...Hope to see you all soon...Take care.
CommentsEnjoyed your music first @ Grandfather Mtn.games a couple of years back. Would love to see you all there again. You were awfully close in May this year at Blowing Rock. Wish you were going to be at the games this year. Maybe in 2005 Huh? Love your music and wish we could see more of you. Slainte, DeDeen
CommentsI just received your cd in the mail today. Saw you in VA at the local Celtic event. Fantastic!
CommentsSaw you in Oban in 2000. You were great. Is there a mention of this gig in the diary?
CommentsCome over to scotland guys, we are all suffering from SlainteMhath withdrawl symptoms over here - it isnt pretty! Hope to see you soon. x
CommentsWEEEOOOO!
CommentsI love your music, and i've tried to spread it to my friends and family!! congratulations!! I think you didn't know that you have mexican fans!!!
CommentsGreetings, folks! Awesome show as always, lastnight at the Louisbourg Playhouse. To no one's surprise, I was the loud mouth in the crowd at yet another show, holding nothing back! However, the tunes were SO great this time that I lost my voice close to the end! I think that was also the case for a few of my friends, as well! hahahaha. The tone was superb, and the effects coming out of the keyboard were off the WALL; I loved it! And there wasn't ONE person sitting down towards the end of the final set; anyone and everyone from age 8 to 80 was "dancing" (to some degree, I suppose!) Myself and the rest of the "loud ones" (as I believe we were affectionately christened?) will be back to see you all very soon! Best wishes! PS: the "Sewer Pipe" sounded great!!
CommentsJust checking out your website...i am living in halifax now, so i hope to see you July 23 at the Marquee!! Best of luck in your upcoming shows!!!
CommentsI really love you guys! I fell in love with you and your music last year at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. I see you're not playing there this year and I'm deeply saddened, But you guys still rock. Always a fan!!
CommentsSlainte Mhath rocks! I really love the band's style! Actually, I'm giving a quick shout out to the fellow fans--I'm looking for an e-pal from either Scotland, Ireland, or perhaps Canada (places I'm considering for grad school) to chat about common interests (ie. music, sports, or Slainte Mhath!) I really hope the band doesn't mind me posting this, but they have such a diverse group of fans! anyway, I'm looking for students like me, in college (or "university" as they say in Europe) and into Celtic history, music, and culture. Shoot me an e-mail if anyone's interested--that includes band members! :) I apologize to the band if they don't want their site used this way, please post something if you disapprove.
CommentsFirst saw the band three years ago at Calander and did a photo study, I have tried to follow them ever since as they are truly awesome
CommentsSaw your show at the Potomac Celtic Festival. Your band is fantastic!! I was one of the lucky ones to get your CD. It has generated alot of interest since I play it on my commute to work (full blast of course!) Would love to see the band down in my area sometime (hint, hint!)

CommentsAt the Potomac Celtic Festival you took my little boy Wyatt up on stage and danced with him. That was incredible! He is still talking about it! He loved it. He loves to dance. I am an irish dancer myself and he loves to watch me practice. Now everytime I practice he talks about "the dancing girl from the band." How cute! You guys are awesome!!!!
Commentsdefinitely the finest performance at the Potomac Celtic Festival...I was really impressed. The only thing missing at the festival was a dose of Celtae ;)

CommentsGreat show at the Potomac Celtic Festival! Loved it...I went with my mom and we were both amazed at the talent you all have. When will you be back in Md or Va? John, your amazing, I couldnt take my eyes off you! And Lisa, this guy behind me called you a celtic goddess, it was cute, but true, you are beautiful and have so much energy! So glad I heard of you!- Jessie
CommentsJust caught your Sunday afternoon show at the Potomac Celtic Fest.. had a blast, I love your music, and even got to meet Lisa after.. (BTW Lisa, you were right, they had more of your CDs at the other tent ;). Keep up the great shows, hope to catch another one soon.. JB

CommentsHey guys, it's awsome how big you've become. I remember during my early university years partying to your music at Daniels Pub in Sydney!! Those were the days. I have had the pleasure of playing bodhran with John and his sister in Antigonish during my "X" days, accompanied by Ward. Just want to know that you have some fans up North and hope you consider doing a visit up here some time. I sure miss the ocean, it's smells, and the sound of some good ol' pipes and fiddle tunes!! Doing my best to keep the Celtic Spirit alive up North. Slainte!
CommentsHi, I just saw you guys last at Revolution Hall. Wonderful show!! The relatively sparse turnout was clearly a result of lousy promotion locally. You deserved better. Correct me if I'm wrong. You folks exude such positive energy! Such a tight, polished performance! Many missed an opportunity to witness the direction in which contemporary Celtic music is headed in North America. Perhaps, I have found an excellent reason to visit NS. And to think that I arrived at your show only an hour after wondering what I might do last night... let's hear it for spontaneous whims which lead to excellent discoveries! Thank you and safe journeys while on tour from a fellow Canadian.
CommentsFound your band from a link at the Irish Fest of Euclid, Ohio(I've played there myself). When are you coming to the LA area? The Rancho Cucamonga area, specifically.
CommentsMy Mom, a MacKinnon from Cape Breton Island, says your self titled CD captures the sound of country dances when she was growing up [in the 1930's/40's] She loves it! Found your website from a link on Clan an Drumma's site. Ever come to California?

CommentsHEy guys when are yas coing back to Sydney?? well later!
CommentsI've always been a big fan of the east coast Canadian sound. Unfortunately been missing it since living in Wisconsin. Caught Slainte Mhath for the first time last year at our Irish Fest here, and see you're booked to return this year as well. Can't wait to see you guys again!!
CommentsHi! Just stumpled over your record VA - NICE!!!! Is there a chance you're going to Denmark again?
CommentsHi! You played at our pub several years ago. If you are playing in B.C. this year, we would really like to have you back to the Whistle Stop. Cheers, Sheila
CommentsHey guys, just wanted to say you all did a great job last night in Boisdale. It was great to see you playing here at home again. Until next time Cheers!!
CommentsAlthough not on your tour list, you're listed as a headliner for the Potomac Celtic Festival in June!! Looking forward to hearing you AND selling a lot of your CDs, etc. It's been a while!!
CommentsHey, just heard of you guys through the Potomac Celtic Festival web site. I can't wait to hear you guys live this June. I love your web site, especially the video clips of the band members being interrogated under a lamp--funny stuff! Also, you guys have a very unique sound; it's so refreshing to hear a band of young musicians playing actual music as opposed to the 'pop crap' that's all over the US(no offense, pop lovers). You have a very unique sound and seem well-grounded despite your growing success. Very cool :) I'll have to tell more of my friends about this group--though there isn't much to go on--there doesn't seem to be many details on the band, members, how it all started, etc. But I guess you all want to keep some privacy. Anyway, I really like the band's sound and I love celtic music. I'll be counting the days til' June12th! (well, not really . . . but I AM looking forward to hearing you all live!)
CommentsWhats shakin?! Just thought Id drop you guys a line to say Hi. I have a band of my own now so be on the look out for some competition ;)Anyway, best wishes. Peace.
CommentsHi Guys! I just thought I'd say hello!!!!

CommentsWhat a great show you put on here for St.Patricks Day! Our 'regulars' are still talking about what a great show it was. I have visited Cape Breton and the rest of NS a few times, and listen to "The Hawk" in Port Hawkesbury over the internet all the time, and listen to the Highland Fling and the sounds of Ireland on Sundays. I was really pleased to hear that stuff so close to home... not knowing beforehand that was near where you're from... Please come back for next St Particks day...

I don't know if he remembers, but i took a picture of him right before everyone started dancing in the circle on the floor. If you want a copy of it, just let me know! Love, two fans of Slainte Mhath and JOHN MACPHEE--- Meena and Jenn :o)
CommentsHey everyone - saw you March 16th on the Eastern Kentucky campus. The show was great, and I ended up buying both CDs. Irish and Celtic music is my favorite anyway, so imagine my surprise when I stepped out of the cafeteria (the campus doesn't advertise things too well).
CommentsI don't often eat in the dining hall at Le Moyne, and so it was only by chance that I chose to eat on monday night (3/15). And I have to say I am extremely glad that I did, because I would have never heard of Slainte Mhath if I hadn't! You guys, and girl, have one of the most original, unique, and amazing sounds that I have heard in a long time. Although, to tell you the truth, your CD does not do you justice. Slainte Mhath is one of those few bands you have to actually see, up close and personal, to truly get the full effect of their music. To sum it up, the performance was awesome, it was the best concert I've ever been to, and I truly hope Slainte Mhath stops at Le Moyne again (and soon).
CommentsHeard a rumour you're going to be at Potomac Celtic Fest in June. If true, looking forward to "selling" ALL your CDS! :)
CommentsYour music and show at EKU was awesome. I picked up one of the VA CD's too and am enjoying it right now. Hope to see you all again.
CommentsFINALLY!!! Slainte Mhath come to Toronto!! I haven't seen them since ECMAs 2003!! AND..to top it al off...it's only $5.00..saweet!! Thanks guys..God must've answered my prayers!!
CommentsI must say, at first I didn't know what to expect when I saw the bagpipes. But, it was an astonishing performance, seriously. I was amazed at how talented everyone is. Plus, I have to add this in, Ryan was the one that "I had my eye on" and talking to him was nice also. Even though I was at a loss with words; I didnt know what to say. ;) But, I am thrilled I had the opportunity to watch them at my campus. Good job guys and girl ;)Your cd, VA, is really good too. -I hoped you enjoyed the Shamrock shakes at McD's.. ~Ashley
CommentsYou are all so tallented. I have to say when you played in the dining hall it was the first time it was worth it coming to dinner!!!

CommentsYou played in Goderich several years ago - at the Celtic Roots Festival and absolutely enchanted the crowd. I have been to the festival since the beginning and I have never seen the festival crowd SO excited. Just incredible! People are still talking about Slainte Mhath and even know how to pronounce it correctly! I have your CD "VA" and just adore it. You are wonderfully talented, exuberant young people and I wish you well. I hope maybe some day you'll wend your way back to Goderich and delight us again...

CommentsI think that what you guys have done, taking the traditonal art form of folk music and combining it with modern styles is really great, because it infuses the music with new life and creates something totally different, totally new, and really quite exciting. I'm part of a Highland dance company, and our artistic directors have choreographed some really cool dances to your really cool music. Since we do to Highland what you do to folk music, this is exciting for me. Thank you for much for the inspiration of your music and the freshness it brings. OH--and come to Ottawa sometime soon, preferably before I go home for the summer.
CommentsWhat can I say? I'm part of a Highland dance company, and the girls have choreographed some cool dances to your cool tunes. I think what you guys are doing is great, taking traditional art (ie. folk music) and combining it with new styles, giving it new life. Maybe I'm just biased because that's what the girls have done to Highland (I just dance, I don't make any stuff up). Anyway, thank you for your music that has inspired us so much and helped us on the road to new, vibrant Scots folk art in Canada. Oh--and come to Ottawa sometime during the university year so I can actually see you in concert, please.
Commentshope you had a great time in alberta, but i really think you should come out this way. a scandinavian-germany-netherlands tour perhaps?! oh, and you need to update your pictures. i haven't seen you all in so long, but i get no fresh pics on your site.

CommentsHi Slainte Mhath!!! Can't believe I found your site again. I last saw you perform at the NH Highland Games, the last year they were at Loon Mtn Resort. You're all great! Missed you at the NH Games 2003 but had fun listening to Clann An Drumma (http://www.clannandrumma.com/ Anyway, interesting story about how I found your website again: I remembered your name had slainte in it, so I typed slainte fae into a Yahoo search box. Then, scrolled down and there you were, entry 18, a review of your music. Fortunately, I remembered your band's full name because of how folks incorrectly pronounce it "slanty math". Anywho, hope you give the NH Highland Games 2004 in Hopkinton a visit. It's still a great venue and larger audience. I've added your URL to my offline list of Scottish webs, so I can't lose site of your great talent again! I'll be a watchin' and a listenin'!!! Hope it's OK to have a link to your website on my web's Scottish page that I'm creating.
CommentsHello to all of the Slaints! Congrats on the gigs in Japan...you will have an amazing time. Miss you here in Ottawa... Could the kind person who said hello to my sister Hannah and I below please identify themselves...we don't know who you are!! Cheers, Sarah :)

CommentsOk,ok...I know majority of you will not understand what im about to say but I did want to thank the great folks from Slainte Mhath for encouraging me to talk to Scott the sound guy for their concert at the Alabama Highland Games. Me and Him have hit it off remarkably well! I was just so happy that he was doing the sound for such a great band so I had an excuse to stick around for both sets! I love Canadians who play scottish/jamaraquia music! Keep rockin in your own kinda way! -Love, Miss. Kim
CommentsWow! Your music made the hair on our arms stand up. We purchased your VA C.D. today. We heard you on CKUA. Missed your show at the Folk Festival, but we will definitely be there for your next appearance. Your music is sooo good! : )
CommentsI just saw you perform at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH. i was the one with the multi-colored scarf...people seem to remember the multi-colored scarf...you guys (and girl!) were GREAT! can't wait to see you again. (and thanks for the great travel tips john!)
CommentsThe concert last night was AWESOME...you guys are great! hope you come to Proctor agian. you will definately be welcome.
CommentsHeard you on the Red River Radio Network program "No Cover." Incredible stuff. Keep up the great work.
CommentsDang! I wish I could play the fiddle like Lisa and Boyd! When you guys were at the Scottish Festival in Montgomery, ALA, my eyes were glued to where you put your hands, fingers, etc. Same with the bagpipes, but I don't think I'd have enough breath for that. I love singing, and you can't sing while playing the doodlesack. It was so funny when you told us that. I knew I heard it somewhere before. My dad spent two years in various parts in Germany, and he was nodding his head when you told us that. Back to the fiddle, tho, I've never held one before (haven't even seen it up close), and I want to just play one for two seconds. I was going to ask you at the end of your second performance, but chickened out. I wanna save my money for one, but then there's also the classes and the teacher and I dont have the money. Well, gotta go. Don't drown! (as my brother would say) And keep makin' young hearts soar...with your good looks and your instruments!!! ;)
CommentsI saw you guys play three times this weekend at the Red River Revel in Shreveport LA. You all really kicked it! I really enjoyed all the shows. The new CD "VA" is great. I hope you come back soon. You are very welcome here! Hope you had as much fun performing for us and we did enjoying you.
CommentsJust heard you this weekend at the Red River Revel! Your band rocks!!! Please come back next year! You should also try to make it to South Louisiana -- to the Festivals Acadienne in Lafayette (Cajun Country). That's where I'm from originally. There are some similarities in your music to some of the music from that locale, especially with the violins (fiddles to them!). I know the people there would love to hear you and would receive you well! I can't wait till the next time I can hear you live. Till then, I've got the CD and will follow you on your website. Your music is so much fun!!Thanks!
CommentsWe saw your show at the Revel Sunday night and ya'll were fantastic. Welcome to Louisiana, we hope ya'll come back many times, and I hope you enjoyed your time here in Louisiana. To all of you, continue to pursue your dreams, you bring great joy to many thousands of people, and live life to the fullest. We enjoyed your show & music very much, ya'll are a very talented group of musicians, keep up the good work, & most of all, have fun doing what you do. Thanks again for a great time and have a safe trip home!!! My daughter Dixie is 12 and she came home and started praticing on her guitar as she was inspired by ya'll's music. Sincerely, Jensinful1.

My husband is a piper, and though he knew almost all the tunes on "Va", he was blown away by your arrangements. Bagpipes never sounded so sweet! Also, my daughter is a competitive Highland Dancer (she dances with Colleen Rintamaki - the World Champion)and she also loves your music and is making up a dance choreography to "Annie". We look forward to your next CD, and can't wait to see you perform live in Toronto. Thanks for some great tunes! Christine Hamilton

CommentsSaw you guys at Irishfest. Of all the bands we saw on Sunday we definitely enjoyed your show the most. We love the new CD, thanks for taking the time to sign it. (My girlfriend and I were the ones who suggested you change the "Annie" clip on the site so it includes more of the pipes.) I have got to agree with Kristi from Libertyville below, you've got to give us "Superfreak" on a live album or something. Thanks, and maybe I'll see you in Chicago.
Commentsi was really lucky and got to see slainte mhath at grandfather mountain a few years ago, and i'm just now visiting the site, sad, but true, but the band totaly rocks and the site is awesome!!! sandwhich artist?!?!?

I cannot tell you how proud I am of you and your talents and your tenacity to get into this business!! I am 52 years old and mother and grandmother and lover of all things Irish, having Irish genes and all!! What can I say!! I want all of your CD's, but where can I find them? Not one of you were lacking in your performance at all!! The guy with the pipes! What a hoot! The guy who did most of the talking, what a talent!! The drums were simply the best and believe me I am very critical of my celtic music!! The rest of you were simply superb!! I am so glad I got to see y'all. Please take care and remember there's some nice lady in Wisconsin pulling and praying for you! God Bless!! Theresa "Riley" Erickson

CommentsWe were dancing in the rain with you at the Calgary Folk Festival!! Too amazing! My 9 year old daughter put it best. As the rain began to fall, she looked around at all of us and said: "We are all lunatics, dancing in the rain!" Thank you for more fun than I've had in a long time.
CommentsWonderful music in Calgary - you certainly provided my festival highlight with Horace X. CD is great, it kept me company while I suffered from a bad case of heatstroke on Monday - I don't recommend it as the end to a festival! bidh
CommentsI enjoyed your music. I loved the Horace X and S.M. workshop. That was fun. You should think about doing a mixed album with them, or at least tour with them in some capacity!
CommentsWill you ever come back to play in D.C/Virginia? I could get a nice big audience for you, no problem!
CommentsGreetings and Salutations, I just wanted to drop you all a line to say thank you for an incredible time up in Winnipeg. I've been attending the festival for 6 years now, and I'm always blown away by the music, but this year, you guys stole the show. If there's anything I can do to convince you to tour the U.S., you need but ask!
CommentsWe would like to say WOW!! You guys ROCK! We managed to catch the last song of your set at the Calgary Folk Fest after not having tickets and travelling 7 hours, and it was worth it! We've seen you so many times, but it was even better to see you "away". We heard lots of people raving about you guys throughout the festival. (We're sad we missed your Horace X workshop, those guys were amazing) Hope to catch a show at home sometime soon. :)

CommentsI just wanted to say that I saw the band at the Maripsoa Folk Festival last weekend and I was absolutely blown away by the music. This was the first time I had ever heard any of your tunes and I was very impressed. I am now going out to buy some tunes. A couple of my pals were shuttle drivers and they commented to me that they found the band members to be extremely friendly and outgoing. I told them that is because you are from Nova Scotia. I am originally from New Glasgow. Judging by the audiences I think you were probably one of the most popular bands at the festival. If you have a chance to come back next year please do. Rollie Damery
CommentsHey! Just came back from the Mariposa Folk Festival! I fell in love with your music from the first note!! Thank you for your energy and enthusiasm! CommentsSo...how did the Cat get to Boston? ...give up?...in her speedy new Catamaran!! ...and the crowd goes 'groan!'
CommentsI'm so glad to see that Evan made it to Vancouver ok! To get back at him for leaving without saying goodbye, I think you guys should put a "No Evans Allowed" sign up at the show in Dawson...Or, at the very least, make him eat 5 or more packages of Mr. Noodles in one sitting. (I love you, Ev!) Why don't I see any Halifax shows coming up?? What am I supposed to do all summer? Boyd and Lisa - got anymore cat jokes?? They never stop being funny..
CommentsHey guys, I made it alive! Sorry to see you won't be playing Van Folk Fest, but I'll see what I can do about making it to Dawson for the weekend! You're still my favorite celtic band.
CommentsI love your music! I've seen you play as the Chieftans opening act at Brock University (St. Catharines, ON)in 2000 and again at Brock University in March 2002. I also love the new CD. Come back to Brock soon!

CommentsSaw you at Strawberry. Outstanding job ! I would strongly suggest an audio clip on this website that better represents your "spirit" (and bagpipes). Hope to see you back soon. Once again, I really enjoyed your show.
CommentsHi there, just commenting on the message about 3 below yhis one regarding the new tune being 'out of tune!' If you were referring to me...sorry...my part was just created like minutes before some of the footage was recorded so it was probably a bit rough! Hope you'll be more satisfied next time you come to check out a show!
CommentsYou guys were my favorite at Strawberry Music Festival. You had the whole place dancing and lit up the show. I hope you enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed you. Hurry back. Regards, Lee

CommentsHi again:-) Ok, just about finishing surfing your whole page throug. there's a lot to be seen here. I totally dig that you have added so many cool links to your site. I might make it to Tnder anyway, but if not you can blame " Runrig ", where Bruce Guthro is the leadsinger, for putting their anniversery concert in Scotland so close to the time you're in Tnder. But anyway, hope to get to Tnder, it's such a great place, right??? Have yourselves a great day. Cheers from Denmark
CommentsYay!!! FINALLY a PEI date on your tour schedule! I am very excited and I'll definately see you there! I'll round up our usual group. Just in case you forget (although I can't imagine how!!) we'll be the crazy Island girls dancing in front of the stage...watch for us!
